Paulaner am alten Postplatz in Stuttgart

Many greetings to my Paulanerhopper Wolfgang and Hacker Pschorr Trinker. Unfortunately we can't meet again this year. Everything will be fine next year.

The waiters are always very sociable and extremely obliging. We really enjoy that every time we visit. The armchairs are extremely comfortable and I think the distance between the seats is extremely decent. There you don't get the feeling of eating sardines in a can in the evening, I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. We'll both be back in any case. We were both there too together and each of us ordered something different, I can say for my part, I tried a little bit of each and everything was great.

I got the goose leg with dumplings and red cabbage. I have to say I have never had a better leg of goose. Keep it up

good Food and reasonably priced.

Wanted to order food to be picked up during the lockdown, paid and an order number. Unfortunately, the shop was then closed during the specified opening times. Super outrageous!

I took a large group (30) for dinner. We had a private upstairs dining room. Great ambiance, great service and wonderful food. The closest you’ll get to Munich in Stuttgart. Highly recommended. Chicken brest with baked potato was very good. Excellent Paulanet beer. Salads vere good. Prices aren't low but overall is ok.

A very good selection of Swabian dishes is offered in this restaurant. Portion sizes are decent, the prices have probably been raised a bit. The homemade spaetzle were really excellent, it was really great. What bothered me a little that in the lower restaurant there was smoking at several tables. Then I thought that this is no longer allowed. A beautiful outdoor area in summer, which was even covered with a pavilion in autumn.

The Paulaner at the old Postplatz. Located in the middle of Stuttgart. Paulaner Bavarian Cultural Property ;-) The restaurant conveys the typical Bavarian concept. The equipment, just as chosen. The interior is rustic with dark wood. Very cozy, quaint. The restaurant is well maintained. Guest rooms and toilet facilities all well maintained. The beer garden is also kept nice. In the middle is a water fountain and large trees. All in all a really nice beer garden. The food ..... of course, how should it be otherwise. Hearty food, good food. The menu is varied. The food is very tasty 😋 It is highly recommended to take a break here and have a good meal.

Very tasty German food and beer . Big portions.

The knuckle was unfortunately sold out around 4 p.m. ... But the roast pork was a great alternative and the beer always tastes good anyway :) The premises of the restaurant are cozy, almost rustic. The service was attentive and friendly. The location is super central in the city and very easy to reach by train.

Great food at reasonable prices. I have been there often and will come more often. The separate smoking area is also very good.

Really cool service! Recommended us food and beer that wasn't on the menu. We had Oktoberfest beer and a Paulaner plate.

Sat in the beer garden Saturday with my dog. I got a Beer and the grilled chicken breast, swapped the oven baked potato for Nudeln. Everything was really good, chicken breast was large. They brought out water for my dog and the server was quick and friendly.

Outstanding! Best brewery in Stuttgart. Both the lunch menu and in the evening absolutely great. Hygiene during Corona 1a. The food was sensational (even if stale bread does not belong next to the sausage salad but in the pond with the ducks). Always been enthusiastic so far.

You sit very nicely at the fountain in the open air, also inside very cozy and rustic. The service is friendly and quick. Food and drinks good and reasonably priced. We go to the Paulaner regularly and with pleasure. Recommendation!

The weather was good and the beer garden was full. The people in the service bravely wore their masks according to the regulations. Fast and friendly service. My beer, which was not full, was refilled without any problems. Food was good as expected.

Delicious Bavarian-inspired food in portions to fill you up at still bearable prices for Stuttgart, which is not too dripping with beer, for my taste also tasty but outrageously expensive I only treat myself very rarely! Space is great, the fountain has a tree that provides shade and there is no direct car traffic, usually very friendly and brisk staff ❗ All in all, great 👍 beer garden, good food 👍 at affordable prices, beer tasty but far too expensive, doesn't work at all

For me one of the best brewery restaurants in Stuttgart. Nice and rustic inside and pleasantly shady outside. The service is also quick and mostly friendly. Depending on the time, you should definitely make a reservation as it is usually full.

Good Paulaner style beer garden with nice and competent staff and Bavarian traditional food, like roasted pork knuckles.

Authentic southern (schwäbisch) food. The cuisine is all very good. Prices are all going on steep because you’re in the heart of downtown however if you’re new to the city are you looking for in a Local place to eat. Why not. I’ve been here five times you can never go wrong. Can be crowd at times but the food and drinks are worth the wait.

It was very nice place for traditional food. The only disadvantage is that ground floor for smokers. If u dont smoke, u still need to go through smoke up to the first floor. The food was delicious.

Stopped for lunch with 2 little ones. Authentic German meals in a rustic atmosphere. Adults only (smokers) downstairs.

Food was good and Arris was so friendly.

Went there before the lunch crowd. The waiters were nice, attentive and prompt. At first I thought the prices were a bit high but the size of the portions more than counter-balanced such. Personally, I thought the food was great. I’m going back again before my trip is over.

Although German cuisine is considered neutral and not very tasty, the current restaurant serves excellent geman plates. Highly recommended..

Good food but I'd like more smile the next time!

First time in Germany and this is the first restaurant. The waiter was friendly funny and the beer was good. We were slightly early for lunch and had no trouble finding a table. The place became packed during lunch. My companions enjoyed the food. I food there food so-so though.

Love this place

No cards allowed under 50€. They don't tell you about it, only in one page at menu. The owner behaviour is disgusting and I have to lend money to my mate. Food is much worse than what menu says. Bad experience.

Waiters are Extremely rude. Some dishes are quite empty. It's not possible to pay with card if the bill is less than 50€. I strongly not recommend this place. They don't even speak English.
